Built in 2007, The Mountain Majesty accommodations include 4 bedrooms with 3 and 1/2 baths, sleeping up to 8 people in four separate bedrooms, a tri-level home with 2,500 sq. ft. of indoor living space, plus over 800 sq. ft. of decks. Beautiful pine walls & ceilings in living room, loft, and full kitchen. You'll find this charming residence a comfortable mountain home away from home.

The Mountain Majesty is privately owned by John & Barbara Vazquez as a family retreat and was built with the purpose of escaping to the beauty and serenity of the western North Carolina Mountains and was designed with vacationers in mind. There are 3 decks and 3 floors, each with at least one bedroom and full bath, 6 TVs as well as DVD & VHS, pool table, foosball table, and wireless internet access for your laptops. We hope your stay at The Mountain Majesty will provide you with special memories that are waiting to be made.

The Mountain Majesty is fully stocked with linens, cooking utensils, microwave, air conditioning, heat, and satellite television. Outside, relax on the spacious porches that surround the home. This area is perfect for a quiet sunrise breakfast, an afternoon read on the rockers or an intimate sunset glass of wine. When you arrive, you’ll find the beds freshly made with crisp linens and soft, fresh towels in the baths.

The main level features a living room, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom and bathroom, as well as a ½ bath. The spacious living room with cathedral ceiling is a great place for group gatherings. Enjoy an evening by the stone, gas-log fireplace, catch a good movie on the 37-inch HDTV with DVD & VHS player, or just relax and listen to your favorite music on the stereo with CD player. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with everything to handle from the simplest meal to your complete Thanksgiving tradition. The dining area hosts a dining table with six chairs and bench, as well as island countertop dining for four. The main floor master suite has a king-sized bed, 32-inch HDTV with built-in DVD player on satellite TV, full bathroom and private deck. Step out off the main floor onto the deck to soak up the cool mountain air, sounds of the forest, and awesome year round views of the mountains while relaxing on the rocking chairs. For those who enjoy outdoor cooking, you have a gas barbeque grill.

On the top floor, there are 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed, and a full bathroom. The loft area boasts additional living space with desk for your laptop with wireless internet access. Each bedroom has a small TV hooked up to the satellite, and a built-in VCR. We have a large selection of VHS tapes in the game area downstairs.

The lower level features the 4th bedroom with 2 twin beds and satellite TV, a full bathroom, laundry room with washer and dryer, and recreation area, complete with foosball, pool table, a library of books, puzzles, games and movies. From here, step out onto another deck to rock the day away on the covered porch rocking chairs. Satellite TV is also set up in this family/recreation room with DVD and VHS. Large pub table is there for you to enjoy board and card games or work at a puzzle.
