The Music Building

The most historic music rehearsal facility in NYC, The Music Building has been the creative hub of local musicians since 1979. With 69 rehearsal and recording studios and open 24/7/365, The Music Building is a mecca for those needing monthly rehearsal spaces.

Alumni include Madonna, The Strokes, Billy Idol and thousands more!

In the early '80s, a second Music Building opened in Jamaica, Queens. With about 100 studios, it had mostly hip-hop and heavy metal bands (including Metallica and Anthrax), but it burned down in the mid '90s.
