Travel the high road to Taos and visit us at the Historic Nambe Trading post newly re-opened and curated By Cathy Smith. A destination just 20 minutes north of Santa Fe and on the way to Chimayo, the historic Trading Post evokes the unique spirit of Old Santa Fe and the Camino Real. Relax on the portal with a cold drink & snack, or in the shade of the tipi and browse our collection of local native art and rare hand-picked curiosities.

Cathy A. Smith brings her collection of Plains Indian Artifacts, her own bead and quillwork, and Costumes from the dozens of Western movies she has designed to the public through the venue of this historic northern NM Trading Post. Now painting in oils - the West she knows and loves, her paintings will also be for sale here.

In true trading post style, we sell supplies: antique Venetian beads, Czech cut beads, buckskin, sinew and beading supplies.
Also have a selection of native herbs, sage and sweetgrass.

We are open every day except Tuesdays, which are by appointment.
