The Nash on East 80th

The Slovenian National Home (the "Nash") was founded in 1917 by Slovenian immigrants flocking to the Cleveland's historic Slavic Village neighborhood, needing a central place to meet, socialize, and (presumably) polka. That was a long time ago. Cleveland was a different place then. Slavic Village was a different place then. While the neighborhood and its original ethnic population have declined, the Nash has been steadfast in its purpose of playing "Home" to various social events, and always providing the requisite dance floor.

Now, the revitalization of Slavic Village is gaining momentum, and the Nash is a part of it. As we honor the past and plan for the future, we welcome in the "New Wave of the Old World".
