The Old Freeman Factory has been in continuous operation, since its construction in 1942, as a retail and manufacturing facility, now serving a new generation of start-ups and local businesses, including trades such as; cabinet and furniture making, welding, metal arts & fabrication, music lessons, production & recording, floral design, graphic arts, antique restoration, pottery manufacturing, and co-op space for handcrafted arts. Complete with loading docs and truck drive-in access, quick and easy access to major metropolitan highways to move materials and goods. Individual studio, shop and office spaces as small as 200 square feet to as large as 2,000 or larger. Features include ceiling heights ranging from 8 to 12 feet, shared bathroom/break areas, wireless internet, trash and recycling services.
The Old Freeman Factory also has a variety of open spaces ideal for production purposes, special events, social functions, meetings and film work. With floor widths up to 100 foot and ceiling heights in excess of 24 feet, we can accommodate any size event, from small intimate gatherings to large events.
