The OP Café, a hidden gem discovered in Sunset Park along Santa Monica’s southern border, has been nourishing the neighborhood with flavorful breakfast and lunch fare served fresh daily since 1996. The vintage bungalow-sized café and secluded patio with a nod to Ocean Park history and homage to the early heroes of the Santa Monica Lifeguard Service, is beloved by locals and loyalists for its relaxed beach-town charm, friendly service, and even friendlier prices.

The OP is family-owned by Mark and Lani Verge, lifelong Santa Monica residents, and one of four On The Verge Hospitality restaurants on the Westside including Art’s Table, Margo;s on Montana Avenue and Ashland Hill on Main Street in historic Ocean Park.
