heated hitting stalls, 2 short range practice greens and 12,000 square feet of practice
putting surfaces. For the junior golfers in your family, we offer a comprehensive junior golf
program. To help you improve your game, our golf professionals offer group and private
lessons all year long. After your round or workout relax in our Men’s and Ladies’ locker
rooms that include jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms.

Since the course opened for play July 4, 1992, The Oregon Golf Club quickly gained recognition by hosting several National and Local Tournaments.

The Fred Meyer Challenge, a tournament put on by golf course architect and former PGA Tour Professional Peter Jacobsen, invited some of his friends from the PGA Tour and legends of the game like Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Craig Stadler, and Chi Chi Rodriguez. Reigning Masters Champion Fred Couples and Davis Love III held the early first round lead after an opening round 65 but fell out of the running when Couples 4-putted the 13th green in the second and final round. Billy Andrade and current U.S. Open Champion Tom Kite finished the two-day event 2 strokes ahead of Steve Pate and Corey Pavin to win the first ever event hosted at The Oregon Golf Club. The 1993 Fred Meyer Challenge would be one to remember for fans who watched John Daly hit a drive in the opposite direction of the fairway, launching it directly over the heads of the gallery and into the parking lot during a clinic put on by Peter Jacobsen.

The 1994 NCAA Women's National Championship saw Arizona State University's Women's Golf team repeating as team champions with a runaway victory at The Oregon Golf Club. Arizona State's Emilee Klein survived some early bogeys and tough conditions in her final round to win the individual title, two shots better than teammate Wendy Ward. Klein finished with a score of six under pay 286.

The Oregon Golf Club has also hosted the 1995 Pacific Northwest Men's Amateur Championship, the 2003 Oregon Open, 2004 Oregon Amateur, 2009 Oregon Senior Amateur, and 2012 Oregon Junior Amateur.

Inspired by the great Scottish courses and following the natural contours of the land, Peter Jacobsen along side co-designers Ken Kavanaugh and Jim Hardy, saw their dream become a reality.
