The PAC at 32 Below

A Note from the Artistic Director,

Several years ago, I reached a cross-road in my journey as a theatre educator…one that landed me in of all places, a sports arena! Today, I sit in said sports arena pondering the near dozen shows we have put on here…the hundreds of rehearsals we’ve had…and could not be prouder of what we at CSA Theatre Kids have accomplished! And from the kernel of CSATK has become the Performing Arts Center at 32 Below! Here, (just “below” the sports arena at 32 Still River Drive) in our newly renovated space, you will find a wide variety of classes for all ages taught by some of the most spectacular local talent…from award winning dancers to professional musicians…and even the President of a local playhouse

Back to that cross-road. I admit, I was skeptical. I wondered if a theatre program could really thrive at a sports arena. Matt Chila, one of the owners of CSA, said something to me during our initial meeting that wiped out that skepticism and has proved to be resoundingly true. He said “It’s all about teams Beth. You coach teams & develop skills, we coach teams & develop skills…we just give different kinds of performances for different kinds of audiences!” So true Matt!
