L. Joseph Parker MD, MSc in Texarkana listens to his patients and cares for their well being. His goal is to make you as healthy as possible. Dr. Parker is in general practice and helps patients with all medical issues. He does not deny care to patients with chronic pain and will consider prescribing medical marijuana for patients who qualify if he feels it is in their best interest and helps them avoid more dangerous medications. Chronic pain patients must have their medical and pharmacy records with them to fill out new patient paperwork. A comprehensive weight loss regimen is also available for those with weight problems. He has a licensed professional counselor to help with anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain and other issues. Chronic pain patients will be drug tested monthly and the Arkansas Prescription Monitoring Service will be checked every visit.
