The Poe Museum

The Edgar Allan Poe Museum explores the life and legacy of the writer Edgar Allan Poe through exhibits and public programs. We boast the world's finest collection of Poe artifacts and memorabilia, including the author's clothing, trunk, letters, bed, and even a lock of his hair. Our four-building complex surrounds an Enchanted Garden and Poe Shrine constructed from various buildings in which Poe lived or worked.
