The Preschool Academy

Jonas Salk, the biologist who developed the Polio vaccine, once said, “Good parents give their children roots and wings–roots to keep them grounded and wings so they may fly.”

At The Preschool Academy, we see it as our job to partner with parents in cultivating those budding roots and wings. To help the roots grow, we provide developmentally-based learning programs designed to build the foundation of social, cognitive, interpersonal and language skills your child will need for later success in school (and in life).To help the wings sprout, we celebrate independent thinking, natural curiosity, self-expression, individual worth and the simple joy of creating. To ensure the roots and wings have a fertile place to grow, we encourage outdoor play and exercise, balanced nutrition and proper rest in a safe and loving environment.

We demand far more from our staff in education and experience than what’s required by Georgia’s Bright from the Start program. We pride ourselves on an extremely low turnover rate and some of our teachers have been with us for 15+ years.

We follow The Pinnacle Curriculum and teach reading, writing, phonics, art, mathematics, science, musical education, physical education, and Spanish!

We welcome children of all races and creeds in the following age groups:
• The Bulldogs: (6 weeks – 12 Months)
• The Butterflies: (12 - 20 Months Old)
• The Otters: (20 – 28 Months Old)
• The Grasshoppers: (28 – 36 Months Old)
• The Wolves: (Younger 3 Year Olds)
• The Koala Bears: (3 Year Olds)
• The Owls: (Older 3 Year Olds)
• Pre-K: (4 Year Olds)
• After School and Summer Camp: (4 to 12 Year Olds)

We are a cinnamon and peanut free school! All of our meals are healthy, homemade choices!
