The Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza is a Great Day Out
for any Quilter, Sewer or Knitter

While many people are sad to see the holidays go, quilters and knitters look forward to the days after the holidays. The decorations are put away, the grandkids have gone home and there are no more cookies to bake. January means time for us, a time to burrow into our sewing rooms to combine fabric, thread and yarn into something fabulous. Visitors to the Quilting and Needle Art Extravaganza will find just the right supplies and inspiration to keep busy most of the winter. The QNAE dates are Friday, Jan. 30 and Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 from 9 am - 5 pm each day. The location is The Statesville Civic Center, 300 South Center St., Statesville, NC. Easily accessible from both I-40 and I-77, Statesville is the perfect small town in Piedmont NC for your “Day Out” adventure. You won’t have any big city traffic headaches here, just lots of vendors with booths full of fabric, yarn, buttons, vintage textiles, sewing machines, notions and much more for your shopping pleasure. Enjoy all of your favorite shops under one roof. Bring your friends, shop for a while and then enjoy our on-site restaurant, Risto’s, featuring homemade soup and artisan sandwiches. Then enjoy a loaf of homemade bread, something sweet and a cup of coffee from Peachy’s Baked Goods from Harmony.

Each visitor will be registered for hourly door prizes and a huge gift basket at the end of the show. Each day at 3 pm, Sew Original from Winston Salem, NC and Studio Stitch from Greensboro, NC will be giving away a Bernina sewing machine. If you are one of the first 100 people in the door each day, you will receive two chances to win! However, you must be present at 3 pm in order to win either of the sewing machines.
