The Retreat

The Retreat is located in a fully rehabilitated Civil War Era building on Historic Merchants Row in Perryville, Kentucky. Originally built as a merchant's store with shopkeeper's quarters, this building has undergone a head to toe rehabilitation.

The Retreat has been transformed into a great overnight guesthouse that will sleep up to 6. In addition to being available for overnight stays, The Retreat makes a great location for parties, receptions and special events. Adjacent to City owned Memorial Baril Park, The Retreat enhances this newly landscaped park as one of the most serene spots in Perryville.

Perryville's history is greatly marked and commemorated by the Perryville Battlefield State Park. The Battlefield is only 5 miles from Merchants Row. Perryville was the site of the bloodiest battle of the Civil War in Kentucky.

A visit to The Retreat provides a centrally located residence for exploring all of central Kentucky.
