The Ridgefield Playhouse

The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit 501 (c)(3), and our mission and sense of purpose are fulfilled in our Arts in Education, outreach programs and various series that deal with real teen issues. Audiences have enjoyed performances by entertainers like Roberta Flack, Gregg Allman, Brian Wilson, Herbie Hancock, Melissa Etheridge and more. Special film screenings with the movie industry's finest have included luminaries such as Ron Howard, Tim Robbins, Barry Levinson and many more. Love to laugh? Our comedy series has included Martin Short, Dana Carvey, and Joan Rivers, to name a few. Be enlightened by our speakers, such as David Sedaris, and Stephen Sondheim who've shared their insight and journey. Our children's series delights kids of all ages.
