The Roost

A little hidden paradise perched just outside of Boone, NC on top of the beautiful Rich Mountain. The Roost sits at a chilly 4550 feet above sea level. Sprawling views of a dozen mile high peaks stretch out before you. This is a place where food beyond belief sizzles on the grill, owls hoot at one another as shadows creep across the valley, and the sunrises will make anyone a morning person. Blizzards blanket the landscape during winter, while the hickory wood cracks pleasantly in the fireplace. If you are lucky enough to find yourself here, above the clouds, sit back and take it all in, as you are one with nature, good friends, and cold beer.
