The Root Cellar Studio

After dabbling in portrait work for the last few years, I have decided to take a leap. Thank you for stopping in, and for those of you that became fans when I was "Carrie Blackwood Photography" I hope you stick around to see what "The Root Cellar Studio" has in store.

We have a lot in the works... my amazing husband (who is also an amazing artist) is in the process of designing my new logo, and I will be excited to unveil it all when its complete. I am looking into some small locations to set up a temporary studio space, until we can *hopefully* move into a more permanent space next year. Please be patient while we transition - and during this time, we will be continuing to take clients on a case-by-case basis, and I will post when I have availability.

I am addicted to coffee, photography, and sunshine. I adore the change of seasons, and find infinite inspiration in them. I’m restless by nature, and sometimes make a habit of being slightly reckless. I carry my camera bag like most women carry their purse. I’m proud of the New England roots that have made me who I am, and find it fitting that they’ve made me strong enough to be the wanderer that I’ve become.
