The Rotary Club of Franklin is the oldest and largest Rotary club in Williamson County. Established in 1948 the club has traditionally been home to Franklin's Business and community leaders. The club is renowned for producing the Franklin Rodeo which started in 1949. The rodeo is a sanctioned PRCA event drawing contestants and patrons from all over the world. The Rodeo along with The Great American BBQ Festival raise money for local and international service projects. In 2016 the club was awarded large Club of the year for District 6760. Current membership is around 150 and meetings are held every Thursday at noon at the Enrichment Center on Columbia Avenue.
