The Rustic Garden

We are fifth generation farmers and ranchers. Our garden vegetables and herbs used to prepare our recipes, and those we purchase from local growers, are grown without the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides. Our products contain no soy corn, refined sugars, GMOs or gluten.

We embrace the movement to grow and eat locally and the promotion of physical health achieved by eating healthily.

Spicy Salsa

And we do mean spicy, This salsa is not for the faint of heart. We roast our garden fresh vegetables and herbs to perfection and spice it up with a variety of seasonings. If you like this salsa, you possess a very sophisticated palate for Tex-Mex. In fact, you were probably born Texan and have had no aversion to eating Mexican cuisine 10 times weekly for the better part of your life.

Use this salsa for dipping chips, tortillas, or embellishing tacos, burritos, tamales, burgers. Makes a fabulous topping for eggs instead of the traditional huevos rancheros sauce.

Jalapeño Ranch Dressing

This is NOT your mother's buttermilk ranch. Using the highest quality mayonnaise, organic sour cream and whipping cream, we blend jalapeños and seasonings yielding the creamiest, yet mildly textured dressing you have ever tasted. Use on salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers. Perfect veggie tray condiment. Sorry! Once again, no mild or medium.

Sweet Basil Pecan Pesto

We added our own Texas tweak to this traditional Italian paste. This pesto is made with sweet basil fresh from our garden, organic Parmesan cheese, garlic, local, pesticide free pecans, and extra virgin olive oil. Keep this pesto in your arsenal for topping pasta, chicken, fish, crackers, sandwiches.
