The Ruwet Farm on Lake George

We raise Rhode Island Red Chickens, Ducks, and American Boer Goats. We recently added to our farm a Jersey/Holstein Calf named Bertha, a mini horse named Bear, two lambs, two miniature donkeys, bunnies, turkeys, peacocks and three Alpacas. Coming Summer 2013-we are excited to offer children an opportunity to attend one or more of our farm and garden programs. Summer programs will consist of many fun and educational activities about life on the farm, giving them a hands-on look at agriculture. Children will take part in collecting eggs, feeding animals, picking strawberries, blueberries, planting a vegetable garden and harvesting the crops, fishing and water play. Each week, the children will leave with farm fresh eggs, fruits and vegetables that they collected and harvested during the week. We will continue to add animals to our farm to provide new experiences for our family and for other children and adults! Have a party on the farm! Hosting birthday parties for children and other farm parties! Petting Zoo is open to the public! Come feed the animals and be able to walk around with them. PIcnic tables, playscape and sand area available for children to play in. Petting Zoo is open Thursday and Friday 4-7pm and Saturday and Sunday 12-7 pm. Admission is $5.00/person, under age 2 is free. Grain available to purchase to feed animals. Stop by and visit us!
