The Salt House

Historical Liverpool on the shores on Onondaga Lake around the turn of the 19th Century was identified by settlers as a “sprightly little hamlet” and the scene of much bartering and trade.

Liverpool played an important role in the salt industry on the shores of Onondaga Lake.

A history of the area’s salt mining can be found at the Salt Museum located in the village of Liverpool.

The Salt House, named after our historic “sprightly little hamlet”, features traditional flavors designed to appeal to the modern taste
and eye. A variety of salts are presented at lunch and dinner a unique dining experience finished by your particular taste.

The Salt House seating is flexible. Seating offers intimate booths and elevated sections for large gatherings.

Outdoor patio space is flexible space designed for casual meals, large gatherings, or a cocktail by the fire.
