The Sticker was founded in 1896 by Ernst Goeth, Jr. It wasn't Schulenburg's first newspaper, but it was the first to "stick" around. Since then, the Sticker has provided Schulenburg and the surrounding area with honest, reliable news from a dedicated staff. Today, the Sticker is owned and operated by the Vyvjala family. A lot has changed since Goethe's time - production of the paper now includes technological advances like laser printers and a digital camera. And a lot has remained the same - integrity, hard work, and service. Perhaps Goeth foresaw that it's the things that are timeless that make a paper "stick."
