Hmmmm .... What's my page about? Well ... SOAP and the enjoyment I get out of creating quality bars of soap.

The question I get most often is: "How/why did you start making soap"?

In the early 2000's, my oldest son was allergic to just about everything. I mean it was like as soon as that boy stepped out the front door his face would swell and he would develop a large rash. I was told to give him an oatmeal bath and to use oatmeal soap.

The main brands of oatmeal soap available at the time were pretty expensive. So, I set out to learn to make it myself. I made my own soap for a few years until my son outgrew his allergies.

After a long absence from soap making, I picked it up again in the winter of 2014. Only this time, I focused on developing my own recipes and making high quality, visually appealing and nicely fragranced soaps.

At first, this was just for family and friends. However, it wasn't long before one of my friends started encouraging me to have sales for herself and some of her coworkers (Thank you Stacey).

Those first sales showed me that people enjoy the quality of my soaps and bath and body products. And from the seeds of those first sales, along with the years of experience gained while making soap due to my son's allergies, my business was born.
