Our desire is to be a modern day expression of the early church and see the Kingdom of God transform the city of Atlanta. Our desire isn't to plant a single church, but to plant a church in every greater neighborhood of Atlanta. We dream of the day that we see God move in every area of metro Atlanta.
We long to see church return to the concept of parish, where a church belongs to its neighborhood and the neighborhood is connected to its church. It is the desire to see church return to the position of town square where it is the central hub of meeting the needs of its community. This is the place where every Christian could realize the simple calling to love their neighbor and to be missionaries to the city.
It is in this heart that we have a desire to be a church that is both big and small at the same time. Big enough to impact a city and experience the substance of a move of God. Small enough to experience real family and live on mission with a group of people. We call our small gatherings Missional Communities and our large meeting Parish Gatherings.
