Welcome to The Swanky Sheep. My love affair with the mountains began when I was 12 with a trip to the Rocky Mountains. My love for interior design began with sitting on the floor when I was 10 with my Mom as she picked out paint, wall paper, counters, flooring etc for my Dad who was a home builder. It continued over the years with countless trips to the Blueridge Mtns. I loved the beauty of the mountains and admired the unique artisans that peppered the mountainside and towns. I dreamed of one day living and creating my craft somewhere in the Blue Ridge.

I spent 15 years in my home of New Orleans, Louisiana creating beautiful rooms, homes and business as a designer. I loved it, as my clients did!

15 years ago was my first visit to Mentone, Al. and I fell instantly in love!! Now as a part-time resident living on the brow, I spend much of my time in my Mentone studio painting and repurposing vintage furniture, creating inspirational pieces, bath teas and more. Everything I offer for sale are all pieces I created. All items are listed on FB and soon will be offered in a local mountain store.
