The Technicolor Nightmare

Hailing from a background in progressive music, The Technicolor Nightmare are struggling musicians located in an area with a rich background of music, but where what they enjoy is not exactly the norm. With very little opportunity to play live or promote themselves, The Technicolor Nightmare relies on the internet to get the music to people who will enjoy it.

The members of the band, Steven Caudill(Bass, Vocals), Joe Spradlin(Drums), Waylon Whitson (Guitar/Production), Justin Colvin (Guitar), and Josh Fyffe (keys) enjoy making music for the sake of making music. Not wanting to fill a niche or subscribe to a certain genre, their music has taken the shape of progressive rock with psychedelic and ambient influences. They all come from different musical backgrounds, and the mesh of these backgrounds is what has created the diverse and colorful assortment of songs that became the Nightmare.

The emphasis, however, lies on groove. Consistent, powerful groove.
