The Underground

The image of fire and burning has been used throughout scripture and history to refer to those who have a passion for the things of God. People who are consumed by a passion and a love for the Kingdom of God can be described as burning with the desire to see God move in power and love across the earth. God Himself appears to Moses as a burning bush and is described as being surrounded by fire in Psalm 97. If the nature of God is to be aflame then as his followers we must eagerly seek to burn with the desires of His heart.

Here at The Underground, our goal is to raise up young revivalists; Burning Ones who are committed to living fully for Him. Whose hearts are a fiery furnace that blazes with a love for God that is unquenchable. We are committed to discipling students “life on life” so that they may grow in both passion and wisdom that by the power of the Spirit they may change this world by living in it and not being of it.
