Members of our historic congregation, known for many years as the First Baptist Church, have been abolitionists and activists; soldiers, veterans and conscientious objectors; missionaries, pastors and seminarians; teachers, farmers, doctors, lawyers and artists--in short, a mix of unique individuals who share a common struggle to live out the Gospel.
Our three most recent outreach initiatives run the gamut: Lunches on the Square, no-strings attached free brown-bag lunches distributed to 200 or so hungry folks on the 4th Sunday of each month; Rancho Ebenezer Mission Brigade, a team volunteering to upgrade facilities and deepen relationships at a teaching farm in Nicaragua; and a winter farmer's market hosted on our church lawn and in the Annex.
