A first suburb of Greater Cincinnati, the Village of Golf Manor was incorporated in 1947, built on an oasis of rich farmland, wild roses and honeysuckle that gave way to streets named after many of the founding families, including Wiehe, Stover, Hammel, Pieper, Kellerman, and Engle (Englewood).
Cradling the northwest corner of Losantiville Country Club, Golf Manor was so named because of its proximity to several historic golf courses, including Maketewah , Avon Fields and the former Crest Hills.
Just over one-half square mile in size, approximately 3,600 residents call Golf Manor home and enjoy the benefits of our own professional police, fire, emergency medical and service departments. Golf Manor’s elected officials are Village residents. Council members run for election at large and represent the Village as a whole, rather than small wards or districts.
