The Wardrobe

Heather Caswell has always envisioned The Wardro­be, her downtown Davis fashion boutique, as more than just a retail outlet. For more than two decades, she has directed the space as a stage for creative expression. For her, it is a fashion gallery offering "art couture", where she can offer the Davis community a glimpse of the most innovative ideas emerging in self-adornment, design, music and fine art. “My core business is fashion, but the spokes that radiate out allow me to advocate for anything that brings beauty and inspiration to Davis.” That includes fine art, literature, and music. The Wardrobe is also home toThe Sound of Fashion project, which explores the synergy between music and fashion.
