The Westy Bar & Grill

Located in Hamburg PA, we are the town's premier place for great food, drinks and entertainment. We offer a killer menu with tons of great choices to pick from. Start out with some of the best wings in Berks County, or have a full night out with our amazing ribeye steak! Don't forget about the great drinks! On tap, we offer Coors Light, Miller Lite, Yuengling Lager, Blue Moon, Labatt, and Guiness- plus a large selection of bottled beer that is constantly changing! We have a complete bar, so if you can think up a drink, chances are - we will make it! Karaoke is everything Thursday Night 10 PM - 1 AM and we have bands most Saturdays. If the night scene isn't your thing, check out our happy hour Tuesday - Friday 4 PM - 6 PM and Saturday and Sunday 1 PM - 3 PM. So grab your friends and treat yourself to a great night out!

West Hamburg, like many communities,had a hotel as one of it's first businesses. In 1870 the National Hotel was built by John Williams and Solomon Seaman. Williams ran the hotel and Seaman and Sons Established a mercantile business in part of the building. By 1885, the Berks Post O...ffice which was established in 1879 was moved to Seaman's Store. E.F. Bubbenmoyer operated the store until 1933. He sold groceries and general merchandise. Before the township building was built in the early 1970's area residents voted in the store portion of the building. Other people who ran the hotel business were Morris Ebling (Elbing's Hotel) Lee, Mary, and Dean Adam (West Hamburg Hotel), and Rick Mason. Today the Westy is operated by Robert and Pam Franklin.
