The Wilderness Inn

The Wilderness Inn is snuggled within the White Mountain National Forest, five miles south of Franconia Notch State Park, offering lodging with character in the quaint New England town of North Woodstock, New Hampshire. Built in 1912 as a lumbermill owner's home, the inn still has a craftsman style décor that welcomes guests to this "neck of the woods". Ideally located, we are two and a half hours north of Boston and three hours south of Montreal.
All seven bedrooms and suites, each with a private bath, as well as the "honeymoon" cottage overlooking Lost River, are smoke free and individually decorated. Bathroom amenities include liquid hand soap, bath gel, shampoo, and hairdryer. Each room has individually controlled heat, HDTV, and air-conditioning. The Inn's living room has a large fireplace, the perfect place to savor a cup of hot chocolate after a day of skiing. Free wireless internet service (Wi-Fi) is available throughout the Inn.

Rates are based on double occupancy and include a delicious and generous breakfast from an extensive menu, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate available throughout the day. Additional person in room is $20 extra. A one night advance deposit by Visa, Master Card, Discover or personal check is required at the time of making a reservation. A two week cancellation notice is required for deposit refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Rates do not include $2 Destination Fee. Check in is from 2 to 9 PM; if you need to check in after 9 PM, please call us to make arrangements. Check-out is by 11 AM. Children are welcome. No pets or smoking please.
