Welcome to The Windsor
Beginning with the days of the Depression, The Windsor, originally the Hilton Hotel, has been a downtown draw. Under Conrad Hilton’s management, the hotel flourished during the prosperous post-war years.
The structure has undergone many changes, together with major reconstruction in the 1950’s. Then came the lean years and The Windsor closed its doors in the mid 1980’s, abandoned to become only a symbol of bygone times. Like a phoenix rising form the ashes, the symbol came alive once again in 1992, with the help of the National Development Council.
The new Windsor apartment community opened its doors on November 29, 1994. Today, the once dilapidated building offers a glorious glimpse of the past to anyone who steps into the fully restored lobby and grand ballroom. For wedding, school banquets, and other events, the ballroom and beautiful mezzanine facilities are available on
a rental basis.
Welcome to The Windsor Apartment Homes, eloquent and affordable community for mid-ranged incomes.
One and two bedroom homes available.
