The Woods Place

The Woods Place is a secluded retreat located on 23 acres near Rising Sun, MD. For the past 16 years, The Woods Place has hosted meetings, small conferences, and peer-to-peer support groups for individuals and organizations.
The Woods Place offers a quiet and comfortable environment for effective individual or group meetings and retreats. Three meeting rooms, a kitchen facility, three full bathrooms, and a large sun deck are available. Up to 15 persons can be accommodated.

The overall purpose of The Woods Place is to help individuals and groups meet their personal and professional goals and become healthier and more effective individuals. The Woods Place caters to sponsors of a variety of activities including peer-to-peer support groups, meditation, nutrition, and wellness programs. In addition, The Woods Place welcomes community-based organizations who seek an alternative setting for educational, training and planning purposes.

The Woods Place is owned and operated by the Anthony E. Weymouth Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit organization.
