The Yellow Farmhouse

The “Heart on My Sleeve” T- shirt line by The Yellow Farmhouse was designed to promote Agriculture. Agriculture is our passion and we want everyone to know how amazing the world of Agriculture is. There are so many aspects from the seed technology and equipment designs that have changed our industry to the families that spend their lives feeding and clothing our world.

Our family farms in Texas where we grow corn, wheat, milo, soybeans, hay and raise cattle. Most of our crops are sold commercially at the local elevator but some seasonal farm products we are able to offer directly to consumers. Our seasonal farm products are sold from the farm under our brand and store name ‘The Yellow Farmhouse’.
We love farming and getting to share our AG story whenever we can. We feel it’s important that consumers hear from the farmer and rancher so each year we visit several schools and share what happens on the farm and why.
Through the “Heart on My Sleeve” line we want to inspire conversations and get people to think about where their food comes from.

The name “Heart on My Sleeve” comes from the phrase “you wear your heart on your sleeve” meaning everyone knows how you feel because you express your emotions openly. It’s all you talk about, what you invest your time and energy into, etc… For us, like many farmers and ranchers Agriculture is our livelihood but not just our job it’s our way of life and it’s our passion.
All the designs in the “Heart on My Sleeve” line have a small “AG tattoo” on the arm to symbolize our passion for Agriculture and identify them as a part of our line. Each piece in our line was designed or inspired by a member of our family or one of the students we have been able to share our story with.
