The:Hill at Nineteen:Ten

Worship/Prayer - coming and knowing, God and ourselves When we gather together for times of worship and prayer it stirs in us a passion to know Him and make Him known. We know that we cannot compete with the world to entertain you, but we also know that the world cannot compete with the presences of God. Our goal each week is to passionately pursue the presence of God and help others find the joy and freedom that is revealed through worship and prayer.

Bible – hearing and doing Our primary goal isn’t to help you quote scripture or memorize all the books in the bible. Our goal and desire each week is for you to hear something from the word of God that challenges you or inspires you to do something! We want you to take action and apply the truth you hear to create tangible impact in your life and the lives of those around you.

Small Groups- inspiration, encouragement and missions. We believe that “life change happens in circles not rows.” Small groups are circles designed to help students apply what they have heard. They are a safe places for students to ask questions, encourage each other and invite their friends to. Students get encouraged and inspired by how other students live their lives and often times help each other through difficult situations.

The One - We have simple philosophy at the:hill about how to find and restore the hurting and lost in our city, our schools, our families and circles of friends. We call it pursing “the one”. Meaning that you and I have the opportunity to invest in the life of one person and show them the love of Christ in a tangible way. We believe that if we invest in the life of one person a semester and challenge them to do the same we can impact our schools and community for the glory of God.

Community - In case you missed it, we like doing things together. We want to grow in our love of God through worship and prayer together. We want to learn how to apply what we hear in the bible together and we want to grow in our faith in small groups together. A family is more then meetings, it’s about laughing, trying new things and being ourselves around those we love and trust. We want to build a community and culture of students who do life together. Our goal isn’t to entertain you, but we want to have fun and we believe a community that laughs and has fun together is more powerful then one that doesn’t.
