More about Therapeutic Body Facilitation Ray DeGuilio LMT Licensed Massage Therapist

These are the different modalities I currently offer:

THAI MASSAGE
This is one of the world's oldest healing modalities. Performed on a comfortable floor futon Thai Massage uses a unique blend of deep tissue massage, stretching and pressure point techniques to reduce stress, relieve muscle soreness/tightness while increasing flexibility and circulation. A Yoga-type Massage. Wear loose, comfortable clothing for this incredible Massage. Through compressions, pressure on specific points and stretches to release blockages, a free flow of energy is restored.

REIKI ENERGY THERAPY
A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by the therapist placing their hands on specific positions on the body and is based on the idea that "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
What does a treatment feel like? We register this infusion of unlimited, boundless energy as varied sensations of significant heat, vibration, unusual heaviness or groundedness, sudden joy and acute sensory awareness that often lasts well after a Reiki session. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include deep relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being.

SWEDISH MASSAGE
It involves the use of kneading, stroking, friction, tapping, and vibration and may provide relief from stiffness, numbness, pain, and other health problems. The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Other possible benefits include stimulation of circulation, an increase in muscle tone, deep feeling of relaxation, heightened well being and a balance of the musculo-skeletal systems.
