Here is my story: First off I want to say that I wouldn't be where I am today without my faith in God. I know that God has a plan for us all and we all have a gift given to us by him. But I never really thought about it much until a couple of special friends kept reminding me and my hubby that we all have a gift from God and we should pray about it and find out what that is! A few years back I came to a point in my life where I was so unhappy in my career. I was really just miserable and couldn't imagine myself staying on this path for another 10-20 years. So I prayed and prayed for a way out. After about 4 years of praying , the answer slowly came to me and I found photography. I always loved taking pics. Even in high school. But I was all of a sudden finding that I REALLY LOVED it. And I really loved the editing part! I had never imagined though that I would ever have my own business and for sure never even thought about being a photographer!!!! It is so amazing how things turn out! I can look back now at my old pics when I first started and think , wow , so many people cheered me on and said I was SO great and my pics were awesome. LOL..I can look back at those pics now and think , were they wearing Rose colored glasses!! I think they really were and didn't know it, :) because with all that encouragement I got, it pushed me farther and farther until I was actually able to quit my very good paying full time job (which I was very unhappy in) and pursue this new found career!! It was a scary thing to do but my faith had got me this far, I couldn't stop now! So Jan 2012 I went full time. Now I could work mostly from home, be able to be there for my child in the summers and pick him up from school everyday. The dream job I always wanted!! So that is why I named my business what I did....God gave me a light that I could call my own!!!........I still need lots of improvement and more practice but I feel I am getting there. I hope to continue this path as long as possible. I hope that someone reads this and understands that you have to keep the faith, even when you are in a place where there is no way out. Keep praying and when the time is right your faith will finally reveal God's plan.
