Thomas H. Slater Community Center, Inc.

CSlater Community center provides direct and indirect services to the White Plains community, in general and the Winbrook community, in particular.

Slater Sponsored Programs and Services:
Step Up Girls, Next Generation Boys, Jerome "Bump" Robinson Drum and Marching Corps, Dance and Fitness, Healthy Kids, Healthy Teens, Biggest Loser White Plains. Gardening Project and Summer Youth Employment Program.

Slater also works in collaboration with various service providers to provide programs, services and activities to the community:

Head Start (Family Services of Westchester)
Homebound Instruction (White Plains City School District)
Food Pantry (Ecumenical Food Pantry)
Pet Pantry (Hudson Valley Pet Pantry)
Annual Health Fair (White Plains Hospital, Calvary Baptist Church, El Centro Hispano)
Annual Kwanzaa Celebration (Community Unitarian Church, White Plains Housing Authority, White Plains City School District, White Plains Youth Bureau)
