Dr Cotney's practice has an emphasis on musculoskeletal injuries, especially athletic injuries and spinal disc problems. He utilizes the Cox Flexion-Distraction Technique for spinal disc problems and has helped many avoid surgery. His office utilizes a host of modern therapeutic modalites such as ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, hydromassage, and inter-segmental traction along with the chiropractic manipulation techniques: Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson drop, and Activator Method.

Recently he has added COLD LASER to the practice. The Cutting Edge Laser unit he uses has made a remarkable difference for many patients suffering from Diabetic Neuropathy, Neuralgia, Regional Pain Syndrome, Sciatica, and various muscle and joint injuries.

Dr. Cotney's office also includes a Rehabilitation Suite with a full range of weight machines for spinal rehab of back and neck injuries. On site X-ray facilities prevents the need for referral to other providers before treatment can begin.
