Tides Thoreau Center SF

Powered by Tides.org, the Thoreau Center for Sustainability is a thriving 150,000 square foot nonprofit center located in the historic Presidio National Park in San Francisco, California.

Home to the China Brotsky Art Gallery and the Seed Gallery of Photographic Art, the Center provides opportunities for curators and artists to hone their skills in the arts. Thoreau Center helps raise the visibiltiy of its tenants by helping facilitate networking opportunitines and events. The Center's library, the Whole Earth Library, is a public library focused on many areas of sustainability.

Beyond the galleries and the library, the Thoreau Center also provides a wide range of tenant programming including: informative brown bags, peer learning sessions and other trainings and social events for the community.
