About me and Tigertail Beadwear :

This year has been one of change and new beginnings for me. Many new doors have opened in my life, each received with much gratitude. I am extremely blessed to start this new journey!

Tigertail Beadwear came about very simply, I saw a paper bead bracelet and LOVED it! I thought, I could make that and so I did. Creating paper bead jewelry soon became a passion of mine and Tigertail Beadwear was created as of April 2015.

A Tigertail is a type of dragonfly. Dragonflies have always been very special to me. They are known to be spiritual guides having healing energies. Whimsy in nature, an expression of freedom, and Embracing Each Moment..

Making the Paper Bead -

Each bead is hand rolled by me, using various types of paper. Mod Podge is used to secure the shape of the bead. They then receive two coats of TreeHouse Studio clear acrylic spray, followed by a coating of MinWax clear gloss polycrylic protective finish.

Bracelets are water resistant, able to withstand light hand washing. I do not advise submerging bracelets in water or swim while wearing.
