Randy (owner/guide) has been fishing since he was 5 years old. As Randy was growing up, he had the opportunity to fish rivers in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and the surf and backwaters of Florida. For the past 20 years, he has been fishing the Trinity River and the Lower Sacramento River. In addition, Randy was Vice President and President of the Shasta-Trinity Fly Fishers 2003-2004. He has passed on all of his knowledge to his son Nick (partner/guide) who has been fishing the Trinity and Lower Sac since he was 4 years old. Nick and Randy have put all of their knowledge and experience together from time spent on the rivers. Between both of them combined experience is 57 years of their knowledge to perfect fishing techniques. Therefore, they can pass on their knowledge to anyone who comes along, young or old. They both have taught countless guides who have booked with them to learn their techniques. They enjoy being on the river teaching and making people happy and by letting them experience that Tightline Rush!
