This beautiful house offers convenience and a magical backdrop for your wedding or event. Whether you visit for business or pleasure, your experience at Timberlake promises to provide a relaxing, memorable step back in time.
Georgian-Federal in character, the Timberlake Historic House has developed in several stages, the original portion built ca. 1803 by Lark Fox. The Timberlake Historic House exhibits decorative Flemish bond chimneys and a grand Neoclassical-style portico. It is one of a group of large plantation houses of late eighteenth and early nineteenth century construction that have survived in Franklin County.
Today the property is on the National Register of Historic Places and is now opening its doors for weddings and events. The new owners, Joe and Sonja Webb (high school sweethearts originally from Franklin County) were married at the Timberlake Historic House. They would like to offer guests an old colonial atmosphere where elegance and simplicity meet southern charm.
