Childbirth Education classes
1. Anatomy - We’re gonna talk about what the heck is going on inside your body. We’ll watch some cool animated videos, look at posters and just get a feel for the awesome changes happening in your amazing body.
2. Birthing Process - We’ll discuss how the heck a watermelon comes out of a LITTLE tiny space. It is miraculous and your body was made for this!
3. Prenatal exercise and nutrition - I know what you’re thinking…”You want me to do what?” But just hang with me.
4. Questions and answers - We’re gonna talk. We’re gonna ask questions. We’re gonna get down and dirty about how much blood and nastiness will actually happen. We’ll flush out our fears, concerns and re-focus on how beautiful this process is!
5. Partners’ responses and fears will be addressed in a fun, easy and accepting manner. “Oh my gosh, I DONT want to look. Please don’t make me look.”
6. Optimal Positioning - We’re gonna talk about what that means and how to achieve it to the best of our ability. I know, you just want to lounge...
7. Labor practice - We are going to practice, practice, and practice some more. We want to figure out what relaxes you, what makes you happy, and what makes you feel safe.
