TKC Sonland

Sonland Ministry is the preschool and kindergarten ministry at Thanksgiving Church.
Children are a gift from God (Psalm 127). Parents have been given the responsibility of raising their children in a Godly manner. As a community of faith, our goal is to assist parents in developing a firm foundation in faith for their children.
SonLand is committed to teaching the core principles of the Bible through worship, music, small groups, and exciting interactive activities. In addition, SonLand emphasizes traditional Christian values by creating special events celebrating Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Vacation Bible School.
SonLand’s staff is well screened and trained to provide a safe and secure environment for each child in their appropriate age group. The children are divided into three groups: birth-16 months, 16 months to 36 months, and 3 years to kindergarten.
We seek to ensure that each child learns that:
1. God made the world
2. God made me
3. God loves me
4. Jesus is my Savior and friend.
5. The Holy Spirit guides and leads me to into God’s ways.
6. God has a wonderful plan for me.
