Tom C. Clark High School

Tom C. Clark High School is a public high school, operated by the Northside Independent School District, in San Antonio, Texas, United States. Built in 1978 with five main buildings surrounding a courtyard with over 120 class rooms it is one of NISD biggest schools. Clark High School was named after United States Supreme Court Justice Tom C. Clark.Clark serves the NISD portion of Scenic Oaks.In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. In 2012, Clark High School was ranked 10th in Children at Risk's Top 10 High Schools in Greater San Antonio.Clark's Mascot is the Cougar and their school colors are Black and Silver.AdministrationDr. Jerry Woods is the principal. The administrators are Joseph Murguia, Melissa Grijalva, Robert Martinez, Jamie Heye, and the Academic Dean is Jill Hackney.Area served by Tom C. Clark High SchoolClark serves a portion of the city of San Antonio and one of its suburbs, Shavano Park. The current population is close to 2700 students. Due to overcrowding, NISD opened a new high school, Louis D. Brandeis High School, in the fall of 2008.
