BIBLICALLY-BASED
We believe the Bible is inspired by God and fully trustworthy. Many books are inspiring, but only Scripture is inspired. Therefore, Scripture is our ultimate guide concerning what we believe and how we live. Though we respect church tradition and value personal experience, God's word is our final authority. That is why we attempt to base all our doctrines, decisions, and acts of devotion on God's word. Though we do not worship the Bible, we do worship the Triune God as he is understood and revealed in the Bible. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we interpret Scripture and apply it to our lives as a church family. We believe that Jesus extends grace to everyone and that we should follow in his steps. Who are we to pass judgment and not extend grace, when we ourselves have sinned. We believe we should love the sinner, not banish them.

CHRIST-CENTERED
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, that he died for our sins and rose again the third day, and that through him we can be saved from the penalty and power of sin. There is no salvation apart from Christ. He is our message, our model, and our motivation. We proclaim him as Savior and Lord, we model our lives after him, and we are inspired by his presence in our lives. The goal of the church is not to elevate a person or a particular position; the goal is to lift Jesus up and exalt him. He is at the center of all we do as a church.

​​​​​​​NON-DENOMINATIONAL
Our church attempts to build bridges not walls. We celebrate all churches that proclaim the gospel of Christ whatever their denominational affiliation. Our affiliation happens to be with the Church of God Movement (Anderson), yet this affiliation does not involve any hierarchical control. As a local church, we are free to make decisions as we believe God is directing us. We certainly value the support and encouragement we receive from being part of the Church of God Movement, but we also realize that through Christ we are connected to all Christians everywhere. As a non-denominational church, we do not require potential members to sign or affirm any elaborate creed or confession of faith. We believe salvation makes us members of God's family.


​​​​​​​MINISTRY-ORIENTED
Scripture teaches that every believer is a minister, that is, a servant. We all have a job to do, and we are most fulfilled when we do that job. The pastoral staff oversees the work of the church, but its responsibility is not to do all the work themselves but to train and equip members to serve. There are various gifts of the Spirit, and each believer has at least one of these gifts and maybe more than one. As members discover their gifts, they are encouraged to serve in the body as God has equipped and empowered them. TEAM stands for "Together Everyone Accomplishes More", and we accomplish more as a church when we all do our part.
