Trattoria A is an authentic fine dining Italian restaurant with a setting in a 1900's stone cottage house. Located just outside the bustle of downtown Franklin on 1210 W Main Street.
The restaurant offers both ala carte traditional dining options as well as Prix Fixe "Multi-course" dining.
We are a cozy 15 seat Trattoria serving dinner Monday through Saturday.
Reservations are made by calling 858-886-6818 or booking on line at www.trattoriaa.com or Open Table.
All reservations are "pre-pay" only to guarantee seating with a minimum purchase of $75 per person to reserve.
A la carte or Prix Fixe dinner ranged $75 per person for food and additional wine pairings start at $45 per person.
Reservations are pre-paid to confirm and guarantee your group, date and time.

The Chef will offers a seasonal a al carte menu featuring Antipasi, Insalate, Primi Pasta, Secondi-Main Courses, Dolci-Sweets.
Additional Multi-course menus for the table. All Prix Fixe menus are served for "The Table" with multi-course wine pairings.

HIstory
In 2015, Trattoria A was created as a distinct one-chef kitchen to capture the true essence and passion of Italian tradition. The dining experience at Trattoria A encompasses the Italian renaissance of cooking and hospitality found within the homeland of Italy. The chef prepares daily from-scratch cooking in an authentic Trattoria setting. Using local and imported ingredients prepares authentic Italian fare featuring classic recipes inspired by twenty distinct regions of Italy.
The restaurant is quaint and cozy seating only 15 guest. Resrvations are a must.
The restaurant prides itself, representing the humble ambiance of small, family-run Trattoria in Italy. Trattoria A features a "Bacari Bar" the "A Bar," inspired from the "Enoteca" wine bars in Venice. "A Bar" is the social gathering place and local watering hole for Franklins wine connoisseurs serving a variety of great wines by the glass. The cozy Enoteca wine bar seats just 12 guest and offers "Cicchetti" Venice Style snacks.

At the helm is Chef Proprietor, Matt Antonovich. The New York native is a seasoned chef whose lofty credentials include cooking for numerous US presidents and celebrities alike. Ingredient shopping, bread baking, making of fresh mozzarella and preparing fresh pasta are daily tasks to guarantee Italian tradition continues.
Managing partner Laura Brown Antonovich is on hand offering "Restaurant Concierge" from soup to nuts service.
Robert Kopp, "Captain/Sommelier" guides the wine program and pristine dining room service.
