Treetop-Acres was founded in the early 1980's by Jim, Joyce, and Shawn Stroop with Alpines and Saanens. In the late 1980's when Shawn went into the U.S. Army the Oberhasli were added to the herd. The herd started with lines from Wil-Mar-Hills, JLS Greenwood Acres and a few others. Over the next few years the Alpines and Saanens were slowly fased out. In 1994 Treetop-Acres exhibited the Sr. and Jr. National Champions at the National Show in Lincoln, NE. Through out the years we bred many permenant champions. The herd was sold in 2000 due to health issues. In late 2001 Jim and Joyce purchased 4 does back. I took the herd over in 2002 and have been breeding since then. I cut the herd when I moved to PA and am currently rebuilding the herd. I am currently using some of the old lines, Devonshire, and Cream-Of-Kansas' lines. If you have any questions about the does or just want to talk goats feel free to message me on here or shoot me an email. ~ James
