Trinity College Trinfo.Café

The Trinfo.Cafe is a space created with the aim to host a welcoming location in the neighborhood where local residents, community based organizations, churches, and merchants can work together on technology-related issues and make better use of information technology.

The Trinfo.Café is a free computer center open to the public that provides a computer training space, single user workstations, a lounge for one-on-one training, and a computer recycling center that will distribute refurbished machines throughout the city. Please become a member today!

The Trinfo.Café offers a variety of free
workshops to all Hartford residents. These include, but are not limited to:

Microsoft Word I & II
Microsoft Excel I&II
Introduction to Power Point


After-School and Summer Classes for Kids

Trinfo Café partners with after-school and summer programs in the city to teach computer classes which balance academic learning with hands-on computer know-how. A sampling of our recent classes includes:

*For Hartford Residents*

Hartford residents are eligible to receive the following services funded by Trinity College and become a member of the Smart Neighborhood:

Free workshops
Free refurbished computer

This is an effort to provide training, support, and assistance to help our neighborhood make better use of technology. Our patrons will become increasingly self-reliant in their use of technology.

Kids’ Hours

Trinfo is open for kids every weekday (Please see schedule). Only patrons aged 17 and younger are permitted in Trinfo during Kids’s Hours.


*Non-Profit Organizations and Churches*

Those Churches and Non-profits within the one mile radius of Trinity College will receive the following services funded by Trinity College and become a member of the Smart Neighborhood Initiative:

Free e-mail for staff, board of directors, etc.
Web and domain name hosting

Trinfo makes the following services available for a reasonable fee:

Web design
Consulting services

To hire Trinfo to perform one of these
services:

1. Invite a representative from the office to come to your organization for an initial meeting and assessment.

2. Web work will be handled by a member of our full-time paid staff.
